Hello from Mindszi

Who are we?

Two years ago, Scott Mackenzie and I decided to build a business. We have even run up mountains in the process!

We had both spent the last ten years creating solutions that helped tens of millions of people and things around the world connect to mobile networks. We were part of a major shift in the mobile industry that saw the alien concept of getting rid of the SIM card become mainstream, with the standardisation and rollout of eSIM to devices and mobile networks around the world.

In 2022, Apple introduced the eSIM-only iPhone to the US market. This was a pivotal moment in the adoption of eSIM and a clear signal that the way we all connect to mobile networks is going to change.

It’s no coincidence that 2022 was also the year Mindszi was founded. We had seen first-hand the acceleration in eSIM adoption over the last decade, but were still perplexed by three things. Why is eSIM still so hard to buy, hard to activate, and hard to get help with?

By 2030, GSMA Intelligence forecasts that 75% of mobile connections worldwide will have moved to eSIM.

Why we built Mindszi

We created Mindszi to use our deep expertise in eSIM and mobile networks to remove the friction in making the leap to a world of eSIM-only mobile connectivity. Whether it’s for mobile service providers, enterprises or device makers, our vision is to make it easy to sell, distribute and support eSIM.

Over the last two years we have had the privilege of working with many forward-thinking businesses embracing the eSIM opportunity, helping them tackle the challenges of scaling eSIM deployments around the world. Our team is laser focused on solving this challenge, and we are thrilled with the progress in our eSIM orchestration platform and the possibilities it is creating for our customers.

The eSIM-only era

This week, we are delighted to see Slice Mobile launch in the UK with their eSIM-only mobile network. An amazing customer-centric business — what they have created is one of the best eSIM customer experiences in the market today.
